The Federal Training Center in Schwarzenburg, operated by the Federal Office for Civil Protection, boasts a quiet and easily accessible location on the edge of the Nature Park Gantrisch. The complex comprises a spacious auditorium (measuring 370 m2, it is the building’s largest space), two plenary halls, 30 classrooms, 125 hotel rooms and a restaurant. It is surrounded by expansive green spaces with a biotope, as well as a forest. The training center makes its premises available for courses on civil protection, but it can also be booked for private conferences and seminars.

All of the spaces are equipped with the latest technology. The auditorium also has two interpreting booths and a microphone system for simultaneous interpreting.

The "Intermezzo" restaurant with its bar and lounge invites you to relax and enjoy. There are play areas and fitness rooms as well as a sports field with a beach volleyball court available for exercise and group breaks.

A helpful tip: Guests can make use of the wide range of sports and leisure activities offered by the Federal Training Center in Schwarzenburg free of charge. E-bikes, bicycles and walking poles as well as billiard tables, table tennis, table football and darts are available to enjoy. There is also a vita-parcours trail right next to the center.
