Go Back in Time at Thun Castle

On castle hill, high above the quaint town of Thun and visible from afar, sits this majestic 12th-century Zähringen castle with its four signature towers. Valuable objects and highlights from the history and culture of the castle and the town in the Middle Ages await in the five large halls of the castle’s keep, also known as the donjon. But the castle’s pièce de résistance is its Great Hall, the best-preserved representational hall of the High Middle Ages in all of Switzerland.
