The event room in the Forsthaus energy centre
The room measures 330 m2. It can be adapted to the guests’ individual needs and allows for various spatial configurations. It accommodates up to 140 people, so almost anything is possible. To ensure that the culinary side of your event isn’t lacking, you’ll have two catering partners to choose from.
If you’ve still got some leftover energy after your seminar or conference, you can book a guided tour of the Forsthaus energy centre. The guests or employees will gain a unique insight and learn more about Bern’s energetic future with the new, interactive city model.
Background information
The Forsthaus energy centre is a highly efficient system that converts waste, regional wood, and natural gas into electricity, steam, and district heating. It contributes significantly to Energie Wasser Bern’s ability to implement the decision of Bern’s electorate to phase out nuclear energy until 2039.
