This hotel has much more to offer than its proximity to the A1 highway: passionate host Frank Walker runs the Al Ponte seminar hotel together with his friendly team, creating a welcoming, pleasant, relaxing, and modern ambiance for the guests. Restaurant options are also varied and range from the “Gaststube” lounge and à-la-carte restaurant to the intimate "Gourmetstübli” and banquets.

Thanks to its central location in Wangen an der Aare, directly on the A1 highway, the hotel can be reached from Bern, Basel, Zurich, and Lucerne within 20 to 50 minutes. All 12 conference and meeting rooms are fit with modern infrastructure and can accommodate up to 220 people.

The Al Ponte is known nationwide for its legendary Christmas lights – every year from November, they create an especially festive ambiance that gets everyone in the holiday spirit.
