Hibernation or not - the Alte Tramdepot restaurant, located right next to the BärenPark, is a lively place in the federal city, and not just because of its proximity to Bern's favourite furry animals. The fantastic view of Bern's Old Town and the River Aare as well as its convenient location make the Old Tram Depot a popular meeting place.

The lively and unique restaurant with its in-house beer brewery is an integral part of Bern’s gastronomical scene. But the former streetcar depot is not only a popular meeting place for beer aficionados and gourmets. The bright room on the first (or rather: the second, if you’re American) floor of the Altes Tramdepot is ideal for private celebrations, meetings or seminars.

The homemade "Tram-Biere" ("streetcar beers") – hand-made in the copper vats in the middle of the restaurant – the diverse menu and the laid-back atmosphere make it the perfect location for events of all sorts.

Good to know: the restaurant can not be rented as a whole (exclusively).
