No matter your age, there’s something special about sitting in a kayak and paddling freely. Led by experienced guide Noah, all activities take place in small groups, with a focus on fun, safety, and learning. Perfect for families, groups, and anyone looking for their next outdoor adventure.

Paddling in Bern – an introduction to kayaking

The journey begins on the River Aare, an ideal river to learn basic whitewater skills and techniques. Multi-day courses include a scenic trip through the Bernese Oberland on the River Simme, giving participants the chance to put their new skills into action.

Courses start from CHF 120, including equipment. Participants only need to bring a towel and their personal items.

In a relaxed atmosphere, participants learn key techniques such as steering, navigating currents, and reading river signals, which is essential for safe communication on the water. Each session promises not only a learning experience, but an unforgettable day outdoors, filled with good vibes, beautiful surroundings, and lots of fun. Rescue techniques are also part of the course to ensure confidence and comfort on the water.
