The round trip takes you over the more than 100-year-old line, along the new Lötschberg northern approach via Kandersteg and Goppenstein over viaducts and through tunnels to Brig. Savour the view out onto the mountains of the Bernese Oberland, Lake Thun and the ever-approaching Rhone Valley. From Brig, you then speed your way back to Bern via the Lötschberg Base Tunnel.
