SC Bern

Founded in 1931, SC Bern is one of Switzerland’s most traditional and successful ice hockey clubs. With a loyal fan base and an impressive home game atmosphere at the PostFinance Arena, SCB has been shaping Swiss ice hockey for decades.

National League and PostFinance Women’s League – Elite ice hockey action

The club has celebrated 16 men’s championship titles so far – most recently in 2019 – and, for the first time, also triumphed with the women’s team in 2025. Year after year, SC Bern plays a key role in Swiss ice hockey, both in the men’s and women’s game. Known for its passion, its commitment to youth development and its strong roots in the city and region of Bern, the club continues to shape the sport on and off the ice.

PostFinance Arena – Home of SC Bern

The PostFinance Arena is one of the most iconic ice hockey venues in Europe and has been home to SC Bern for decades. With a capacity of 17,031, it is the largest ice sports arena in Switzerland. Particularly famous is the impressive standing terrace – the largest of its kind in the world, with space for 9,778 fans. The PostFinance Arena is a place of emotion, tradition and unforgettable moments.

Free admission for children

Children aged 16 and under enjoy free admission in the standing area. Tickets are available from Tourist Information at Bern railway station. Alternatively, they can be booked in the SCB online ticket shop (German only) together with an adult ticket – or picked up at the arena’s box office starting 90 minutes before the game.

Travelling by public transport pays off twice: A valid match ticket includes free travel to and from the PostFinance Arena within Libero zones 100 and 101.
