The route starts at the Gurnigel Watershed and leads over a demanding ascent on a slightly descending path to the training center of the Gantrisch cross-country school. After a quick round on the Stieren platform, another ascent leads towards Selibühl, followed by a rapid descent to the junction to the upper path. There you turn right and directly ascend to the Chaltweh route. After the end of the gentle ascent, a slight descent through the forest follows. At the next junction, you go up to the right and deeper into the forest. The route now leads in constant ups and downs until the next junction, where you turn left into the slightly steeper descent into Chaltweh. After the short and steep descent, the route steadily climbs back to the first junction. From there, it goes in a gentle ascent and a rapid descent back to the Gurnigel Watershed.
Tip from the author
The route can be started at the watershed or at the Stierehütte.
