This water-rich hike begins at the Steinbachweier in Walliswil/Berken. If you're lucky, you may already observe the first highlight there: the beavers. The path then leads you towards Röthenbach - to the idyllic Inkwilersee. Here, some barbecue spots invite you to linger. Fishing is also allowed here - of course with the appropriate license.
The path then takes you to Wangen a. A. - always along the green-blue Aare - where you have various options to stop. The gentle climbs are now over, and the circular route ends at your starting point.
A highlight is also the pretty little town of Wangen a. A. with its historic wooden bridge.
You can of course choose your start/end point freely.
Tip from the author
