The picture shows an exhibition room at Galerie da Mihi near the Kunstkeller with a vaulted ceiling and several paintings on white walls. The room is bright, with skylights that let in natural light. The floor is concrete and there is a small staircase with a handrail, suggesting a cellar or underground gallery. The atmosphere is simple and focusses attention on the works of art.
