Hotel Al Ponte

Thanks to its central location in Wangen an der Aare, right next to the A1 motorway, the hotel can be reached from Bern, Basel, Zurich and Lucerne in 20 to 50 minutes. The hotel is on the River Aare and surrounded by beautiful green countryside, making it ideal for a morning run along the river banks or a bike ride into the Jura mountains.

The bright and modern rooms are equipped with large box-spring beds, armchairs, a desk, air conditioning, a fridge, a room safe, a flat-screen TV, a radio, a telephone, and a bathroom with hairdryer. A buffet-style breakfast is served daily from 6 a.m. There are also over 100 parking spaces in front of the hotel, and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Dining options range from the cosy “Gaststube” lounge to a charming à la carte restaurant and the “Gourmetstübli”, serving all kinds of pizza and pasta. Together these venues can accommodate up to 220 people and are ideal for banquets.
