The peaceful location in the middle of the picturesque Emmental hills and good transport links make the traditional Hirschen Eggiwil the ideal place for a soothing break.

Facilities

The hotel has been in the hands of the dedicated Liechti family since 1919 and offers 31 cosy rooms. Each of the 31 cosy three-star rooms has a bath/shower, WC and telephone in addition to a unique view of the Emmental. Retro-look radio, satellite TV and Internet connection are also included.

Restaurant & Breakfast

The lovingly restored country inn offers relaxation, peace and culinary delights with every comfort and modern infrastructure. A visit to the in-house restaurant or the rustic parlour is particularly worthwhile: carefully prepared regional cuisine is served there. Many of the ingredients come from the immediate neighbourhood and some are even delivered on foot. The professional and highly personalised service rounds off the culinary experience at the "Hirschen".
