Visit the Zytglogge (Clock Tower)

Take a look inside the century-old clock mechanism, learn all about this Bernese landmark’s history, and enjoy the view from the top floor of the tower – perfect for fans of technical masterpieces, history buffs, and panorama lovers alike. How does the intricate clock mechanism work? What stories are hidden inside the tower’s thick walls? Find out at the Night of the Museums.

The Zytglogge is a popular attraction, so be prepared to wait in line. We recommend factoring in about one hour. The last admission to the tower is at 1:30 a.m.
