Sustainable Tourism Days 2025 and 2026
The two-day networking event Sustainable Tourism Days 2026 focuses on active knowledge exchange and networking around tourism sustainability. One year earlier, in 2025, more than 500 tourism professionals met at Bernexpo. Strong collaboration was a central theme. The organisers’ conclusion: “Sustainable development only has an impact when stakeholders work hand in hand.”It’s a mindset that Bern Welcome embraces as well.
International Medical Cannabis Conference
Over two days, leading experts discussed the benefits and risks of medical cannabis at the University of Bern. More than 30 of the world’s leading researchers gathered to discuss solutions and challenges. Other clinical professionals shared their experience with the use of cannabis-based medicines. We asked Prof. Dr Jürg Gertsch, co-organiser of the conference, about his experience in Bern.
