Sustainable Tourism Days
The Sustainable Tourism Days are a two-day event promoting active knowledge exchange and networking. In 2025, over 500 professionals from the tourism sector came together at Bernexpo to discuss key themes such as strong partnerships and collaboration. The organisers’ conclusion: “Sustainable development can only have a real impact when stakeholders work together.” We at Bern Welcome couldn’t agree more.
ECAC Special DGCA 2025
In 2025, Bern hosted the ECAC Special Meeting of Directors General of Civil Aviation, organised by the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA). Delegates from across Europe met to align priorities and strengthen cooperation on key aviation topics. Bern provided the right setting: internationally connected, efficiently organised and ideal for high-level exchange.
European Symposium of Porcine Health Management 2025
The European Symposium of Porcine Health Management (ESPHM) 2025 brought together some 1,100 experts from the field of Porcine Health. Industry professionals from 49 countries met up for the three-day event at Kursaal Bern. Their highlights included the welcome drinks reception on the building’s large terrace as well as the elegant farewell dinner in the historic Kornhauskeller. One of many examples that prove that Bern can easily do both, business and pleasure.
Swiss Cyber Security Days 2024
At Swiss Cyber Security Days 2024 in Bern, experts and decision-makers met to discuss current threats and practical protective measures. The focus was on actionable strategies to strengthen cyber resilience in companies and institutions. The event showed that prevention is crucial, as the impact of a cyberattack can cause major economic damage. We spoke with the organisers and asked about the combined trade fair and congress format and the challenges of cyber security.
