The Schwellenmätteli Restaurants, located in a unique spot between the Aare river and the forest and with a beautiful view of Bern’s Old Town, comprise an event lounge and two restaurants. The multi-functional rooms, bright glass facade facing the river and modern technology make for the ideal setting for banquets, seminars or presentations for 50 to 180 people. Thanks to the flexible infrastructure, every event is personalized and tailored to your needs.

The "Güggeli-Beiz" ("chicken bistro") in the listed, half-timbered building serves delicious chicken specialities. Surrounded by an extensive park with large trees, the Aare river and the forest, this bistro is an idyllic, laid-back meeting place for gourmets of all ages. And you will love the architecture of Terrasse: the pavilion seems to be floating over the burbling Aare. The restaurant serves Mediterranean specialities and traditional fish dishes as well as desserts and snacks year-round. This makes the two restaurants and their culinary treats the ideal complement to the event room.
