The evening will be hosted by Matthias Koschahre, the brew master of the Alte Tramdepot, and Dominic Hauser, the owner of the Ernst brewery, who enjoy sharing their extensive knowledge of beer with their colleagues.
The evening will start off with a small welcome aperitif. After the refreshments, it’s time for a theoretical introduction to the craft of brewing, the history of beer and the different types of beer, as well as the most important facts about the ingredients used to brew beer – malt, hops, yeast, and water.
Then it’s time to brew the beer. The brewers will guide the participants through the brewing process, from the preparation of the ingredients to the mashing, lautering, boiling and fermenting.
The entire brewing process is accompanied by an authentic three-course menu from the in-house kitchen.
The event lasts for about five hours – from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The brewery workshop is suitable for groups of 12 to a maximum of 30 people. Six to eight weeks after the workshop, we’ll deliver your team beer to your chosen address.
