Go for a spin in the city of Bern: ride an old steam tram that still runs on steam today or enjoy the restaurant tram with its small tables. Another highlight is the 100-year-old «Schnauzenbus» that takes passengers through the heart of the historic, UNESCO-listed old town. Vehicle, point of departure, duration and route can be determined together.

Additionally, the foundation organises seasonal themed outings such as the Fondue Tram or the Treberwurst Tram. If you’re interested in the history of public transport, we recommend a guided tour with your group at the Tram Museum in Bern Weissenbühl. Most of its employees are volunteers who also take care of the maintenance of the historic vehicles in their free time.
