Please note: Construction work is currently taking place at the Saane-Sense-Spitz in Laupen. As the water is therefore much deeper than usual, swimming here is not recommended at the moment.
Whether for a refreshing dip, creative "Steinmanndli" building, a cozy barbecue or simply a lazy hour in the sun: at the Saane-Sense-Spitz, the rippling of the river and the beautiful view of the greenery instantly conjure up vacation feelings.
If you're in the mood for culture afterwards, climb the hill, visit the imposing Laupen Castle and immerse yourself in the Middle Ages. Before heading back down the wide stone steps to the small town, be sure to enjoy the wonderful distant view of the canton of Fribourg.
