8.3 kilometers and just under 170 meters of elevation gain. The Lischboden route is a very nice route for ambitious athletes. You start at the Süftenen shelter with a slight descent towards Selital. At the first fork, continue downhill and then steadily uphill on the Holzerweg towards Lischboden below the Schüpfenfluh through the forest. At Lischboden, you have the opportunity to rest briefly and enjoy the view over the Mittelland. Then it goes into one of the most challenging and steepest climbs in the Langlaufzentrum Gantrisch up to the Selibühlsattel. In just 1.3 kilometers, about 115 meters of elevation must be mastered. After a short and rapid descent, turn right through the forest in a steady up and down back towards the Süftenen shelter. Before the finish at the shelter, there is still the steep descent at the Süftenenbord for the cross-country skiers. We recommend completing this descent with great caution and, if uncertain, to take your skis off. An easier bypass is signposted. After one last slight ascent on the main network, you reach the shelter.
