The Anker is located in the centre of Bern, just a few metres from the Zytglogge (clock tower). It is known far and wide for its more than twenty rösti specialities from different parts of Switzerland.

Clinker flooring, wooden chairs, gingham tablecloths and antique lamps create a rustic pub atmosphere. Pennants and posters are reminiscent of Schwingen (Swiss wrestling) festivals, football matches and other events. That is the charm of the Anker.
