Lueg means "to look" in Swiss German. Therefore, admire along the way the different architectural styles of the magnificent Emmental farmhouses, Stöckli, and Spycher. After a short climb over Junkholz, you arrive at the most beautiful viewpoint of the municipality of Affoltern – if not of the entire Emmental.
Tip from the author
At the 887 meter high viewpoint Pöli on the Lueg stands the cavalry monument and there is a beautiful barbecue area.
