The winter hike starts in Riffenmatt at the parking lot and leads alongside the start of the family trail "Hansjoggelis Spüuwäute" towards Einhalten. At the first fork, take a slight right towards Brüggmatt and Schwantebuech. Continuing past the farmhouse, turn right before the farm onto the meadow and then gently downhill parallel to the road back into the village.
