Rooftop Igloo

Über einem der Sternenhimmel, vor einem die traumhaft beleuchtete Berner Altstadt: Vom 5. November 2024 bis am 1. März 2025 kann hier auf der Dachterrasse in hochwertig dekorierten und beheizten Igloos mit sechs bis acht Personen gespiesen werden. Auf der Karte stehen koreanisch inspirierte Köstlichkeiten – mit Fleisch, vegetarisch oder vegan. Dazu gibts zahlreiche Beilagen und hausgemachte Saucen.

Am ersten, am dritten und am vierten Adventssonntag wird am Panorama-Brunchgeschlemmt, ohne selbst in der Küche zu stehen. Die wunderbare Aussicht auf die Berner Altstadt gibts inklusive.

Equipment

The rooms impress with their sophisticated design, natural materials and high-quality furnishings. The exclusive Vitality Suites have an integrated fitness wall and a cyber trainer. A bright, modern fitness area is available to all guests around the clock. They can also use the Internet in the hotel and public transport in the city free of charge. The hotel's own underground car park has six charging stations for electric cars.

The Kursaal Bern has two restaurants (Mediterranean and Asian), a bar, a sushi counter and seasonal gastronomic offerings on the rooftop terrace. There is also a congress centre and the Grand Casino Kursaal Bern with 14 gaming tables and 350 slot machines. And all under one roof.

Brunch

The Kursaal Bern is renowned for its lavish breakfasts. Brunch fans really get their money's worth every Saturday and Sunday.

Various buffet stations will make your mouth water. In addition to the bread, cheese and meat variations, the Kursaal Bern also boasts delicacies such as salmon and smoked trout. The almost obligatory Prosecco is included in the price, as are all hot drinks and juices. The fact that the term ‘brunch’ is a combination of the words breakfast and lunch is taken literally here: Dishes such as beef entrecôte, Berner Buure Hamme, rösti... The Kursaal buffet has them all on offer. Vegetarians can also really hit the spot here thanks to meatless lasagne, grilled vegetables and salads.

On special occasions (such as Easter, Mother's Day, 1 August or Advent), there is always the legendary Panorama Brunch in the Kursaal Forum with breathtaking views of the peaks of the Bernese Oberland and the rooftops of the city.

A sumptuous breakfast in the Kursaal Bern is also available from Monday to Friday.
