The 1,000-year anniversary of the municipality of Schwarzenburg will be celebrated in style this August. The tranquil village, once under Burgundian rule, now has a population of just under 7,000. Situated in the heart of the Gantrisch Nature Park, the municipality is surrounded by an impressive and rurally influenced landscape.

To mark the anniversary celebrations, the association “Schwarzenburg 2025” presents a diverse programme. Bands set the mood with blues, pop-funk and techno sounds. In addition to musical performances, members of the local gymnastics club showcase their best acrobatic highlights.
