Epic Game Moments in Concert
Gone are the days when video game music was just a few bleeps and bloops. Today’s games come with epic, cinematic scores – full-blown symphonic masterpieces that tell stories of their own.
Goosebumps guaranteed: when the Bern Symphony Orchestra and the Bühnen Bern choir join forces, the result is pure magic. From Tetris and Super Mario to Skyrim, this concert’s musical range knows no bounds. The evening will also be hosted by none other than Geralt of Rivia himself.
And the posters? Designed by the community – how cool is that? Over 3,000 people took part in the competition of Bühnen Bern and Stämpfli Communication, using AI prompts to create game-inspired poster designs.
On both days, the City Theatre opens its doors at 4:00 p.m. for the gaming expo, organized also by Erupt, packed with highlights from the world of computer, arcade and tabletop games. Also joining the fun: Chludens – seasoned gaming pros from Switzerland – and Playbern, a passionate collective bringing digital culture to art, education, and society.
