At Herofest, the Bernexpo site transforms into a paradise for gaming and nerd culture. On the first weekend in October, like-minded fans come together across more than 22,00 square metres to enjoy a wide-ranging programme. Concerts, shows and cosplay contests – here, hardcore fans and curious minds will be equally amazed. One of this year’s highlights is the brand-new medieval market “Hero Midgard”. Visitors can immerse themselves in a fascinating world of knights, magic and traditional crafts. The vendor area offers everything a gamer’s or fantasy fan’s heart could desire: exclusive figures, stylish clothing, gaming gear and much more. For the first time, high-profile musicians will also perform, bringing to life music of “World of Warcraft” and other iconic video games.

As always, Herofest puts experience and interaction centre stage. With the Herofest quest system, the first step is to choose your side: Nox or Solaris? Visitors join a faction and fight alongside others for glory, honour and exclusive rewards, turning the festival into a personal adventure. And to keep energy levels high, exotic menus and tasty snacks at the food trucks are a must. Whether you are looking for allies or a pure gaming experience, the magical atmosphere of Herofest is sure to draw you in.
