Huttwil Christmas Market
With over 100 market vendors and charmingly decorated stalls and alleyways, the Huttwil Christmas Market has become very well known as one of the most beautiful winter markets – and not only in the Oberaargau Region. Every year, visitors from all over Switzerland and neighbouring countries travel to the village to stroll along the stalls and buy themselves little trinkets and treats.
The varied supporting programme helps spread the romantic and festive atmosphere throughout the village: the carollers can be heard everywhere in the market, the nativity scene in the cellar of the hotel «Kleiner Prinz» (little prince) attracts children and adults, and candlelight readings as well as many more activities can be enjoyed in and around the market.
