The picture shows numerous small wooden discs with red edges and red numbers on them. These wooden discs appear to be tokens or counting chips, such as those used in a lottery. The numbers and letters on the discs vary and they are stacked irregularly.

Did you know?

Switzerland has a long tradition of shooting. The Swiss Shooting Association was founded in 1824 and since then, the many Schützenfeste (shooting matches) have been a popular meeting place for shooters from all over Switzerland.

By the way: among many other museums, the Swiss Shooting Museum is also at home in Bern. Numerous objects ranging from trophies and historical documents to special weapons tell the story of the Swiss shooting tradition. The museum is currently being renovated and will reopen in 2025.
