Around 40 years ago, a tragic criminal case shook the Kehrsatz region: Christine Z. was found dead in a freezer in her home – discovered by her own mother. Her husband, Bruno Z., came under suspicion, was arrested, and initially convicted. However, about four years later, he was released from prison due to serious doubts about the proceedings at the time. In a second trial, he was acquitted.
