The picture shows a beach volleyball match against an impressive historical backdrop. The stands are full of spectators while two players are blocking the ball at the net. In the background is a large building labelled "Curia Confederationis Helveticae". This is a Yuh Beach Tour event, recognisable by the banners and posters.

As the final stop of the Swiss national tour, the championships transform Bundesplatz (Parliament Square) into a vibrant open-air arena, marking the spectacular close of the beach volleyball season. After stops in Basel, Zurich, Schaffhausen and Lucerne, the best of the best now face off in the federal city. Spectators can look forward to thrilling rallies and top-level performances from the stands. And the best part? Admission is free, so everyone can be there when the new Swiss champions are crowned.

Eight elite teams per category compete for the title. But it’s not just the pros taking to the court. Promising young Swiss players also get the chance to prove themselves. Thanks to two wild cards, international teams are also invited to join the action. The tournament runs from Wednesday to Friday, and since sunshine and sport work up an appetite, a beach market right next to the court offers food, drinks and plenty of summer vibes.
