Visit the museum for free

Spending summer weekends at the museum? Why not! Every Saturday in August, numerous of Bern’s cultural institutions open their doors and invite people to explore museums, castles, parks and gardens free of charge. Travel to the past, discover exotic animals, see where Einstein used to live, and much more – Bern’s diverse museums have it all.

This initiative is aimed at the general public, and particularly at families and young people. It is organized by the Association of Bern Museums with support from Migros (via the “Migros Kulturprozent”) and the Bern Civic Community.
