Wankdorf Stadium

This stadium is where one of the most memorable football matches in the modern era took place. July 4th, 1954, the World Cup final: underdog West Germany vs the heavily favoured Hungarian team. Hungary was in the lead with 2:0 when the Germans managed to turn the game around and emerged victorious. The game went down in history as the “Miracle of Bern”, and with it the stadium. Who knows what we’ll witness at the Women's Euro 2025?
