The route continues out into the surrounding nature, along field and meadow paths winding through the lovely hilly landscape of the Oberaargau region. With about 150 meters of elevation gain, the hike is comfortably manageable, even for less experienced hikers or families.
Along the way, wide views open up again and again over the valley, to the Jura heights or – in good visibility – even to the Alps. Small forest sections alternate with open fields, and benches or quiet spots invite you to rest and marvel.
