Culture for everyone

With more than 400 performances per season, Bühnen Bern offers a diverse evening programme: contemporary dance evenings by Bern Ballett, opera classics such as Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro”, as well as world premieres in theatre and concerts – everything a culture lover could wish for.

Before the performances, visitors are invited to enjoy a relaxed “Fübi” (after-work beer) and a free introduction in the most beautiful foyer in town.

Concentration, precision, passion - the orchestra's string players merge with the music. A quiet moment full of sound and devotion.
Between stage magic and a digital wink: a scene straight out of a children's book, charmingly staged. Friendship, fantasy and a touch of self-irony - theatre with a loving twist.

Evening performances in theatre, opera and dance take place on all weekdays at the Stadttheater and in the Vidmarhallen in Liebefeld. The regular symphony concerts are held on Thursday and Friday evenings at the Casino Bern – the perfect way to kick off the weekend with the Bern Symphony Orchestra!

At the evening box office, people in education under the age of 30 can get tickets for 15 francs in all categories.
