World Climbing Series Bern

The world’s best climbers compete in thrilling contests at the Festhalle in Bern. The event is entirely dedicated to bouldering. Over the course of three days, participants are challenged with a demanding mix of strength, technique and creativity.

When climbing shoes are laced up and the bouldering mats are ready in the Festhalle, it is time for the World Climbing Series in Bern. Numerous participants from various nations will showcase their skills in Bern over the course of the weekend.

While Friday’s qualification round determines who advances to the next stage, the excitement peaks on Saturday and Sunday. The women’s semi-finals and finals take place over the weekend, followed on Sunday by the men’s semi-finals and finals as the grand finale.

It is no coincidence that bouldering is considered a trend sport: it trains numerous muscle groups and can be practised without extensive preparation or equipment.

Parallel to the World Climbing Series Bern, the MUV Festival takes place at the BERNEXPO site, offering a diverse programme centred on sport, health and outdoor activities. Secure tickets now.
