DIY Cheese Making – "Stöckli" Cheese
A "Stöckli" (small swiss cottage) from the year 1741, 200 litres of fresh milk, you and a cheesemaker. With "Stöcklikäsen", you make two wheels of delicious Stöcklikäse cheese with your bare hands - but that's not all. After four months of maturing, your home-made traditional product will arrive in your letterbox.

Since 1989, the Emmentaler Show Dairy has been open 365 days a year and offers a comprehensive experience of the world of cheese making and the famous Emmentaler cheese. Visitors can discover four former cheese dairies from different generations. Fascinating facts and the history of the traditional Swiss product await – and in the show dairy, visitors can even make their own cheese under expert guidance. The Königsweg, a self-guided indoor tour, offers an experience for the whole family. A guided tour, Stöckli cheese making, and the cream cheese workshop are also available upon prior reservation
