Looking to add that special touch to your corporate Christmas party? Be it fun activities, arts and culture, or culinary delights: here are our recommendations for unforgettable festive moments with your colleagues.

Lichtnacht (night of lights) at Thun Castle

On 14 December 2024, Thun Castle will light up and be surrounded by a magical, festive atmosphere. Mark the date in your calendar and get those invites out! Hot punch and lights as far as the eye can see, plus other delicious, exciting, and sparkling surprises. The team will be in the Christmas spirit in no time!

Cheese Making at the Emmental Show Dairy

Turn back time and take the team on a journey to the 18th century. Once you arrive at the Stöckli (little chalet) from 1741, the work begins: Instructed by a professional cheese maker, the group makes its own cheese. Lots of milk, lots of stirring, and lots of love – that’s the recipe for the so-called Stöckli cheese. A few months later, the product of your teamwork can be tried and the fun memories relived.

Hanging Raclette at füüri

The “most unusual place in the middle of Bern” has once again come up with something extraordinary: They’re serving hanging raclette. The füüri team describes it as “cheese dripping on fire-toasted bread, accompanied by pickled veggies”. Positively mouthwatering. Get your team and try it out!

Spooky Bern Guided City Tour

On this 90-minute tour through Bern’s festively decorated Unesco-listed old town, you’ll forget all about mulled wine and Christmas presents. At dusk, the group makes its way to the scenes of terrible crimes and places that have been silent witnesses to spine-chilling stories and eerie tales. The gripping tour combines legends and horror stories with historical events.

Tour of Bern’s Oldest Bakery and Gingerbread Decorating

Güeziduft” (the scent of cookies) wafts through the streets of Bern’s Unesco-listed old town. If you follow it, you will find yourselves in Bern’s oldest bakehouse. The gingerbread baking and decorating at Bread à Porter will show which “Gspändli” (colleague) has the steadiest hands and most creative ideas. And since you’re already there, a tour of the historic bakehouse is a must.

Roasting Coffee at Aromawerk

If your team goes by the motto “But first, coffee” and needs a cup of the liquid gold first thing in the morning to start the day, we recommend a visit to Aromawerk, where absolutely everything revolves around coffee. Teams can learn how and why coffee is roasted, try their hand at roasting the beans, and enjoy a tasting session at the end. Sound good? Go ahead and book the team event and then make yourself a fresh brew.

Speakeasy at the Novotel

Bern 1929, Europe is on the brink of great change and the mood is tense. Hidden in the underground of a glamorous city hotel is an illustrious speakeasy – which has long been a thorn in the side of the police. Enter: the team. The aim is to gain access to the bar and uncover the secret of the “Green Fairy”. As a reward, an absinthe or moonshine tasting awaits at the end. The experience is rounded off with a 3-course surprise menu that leaves nothing to be desired.

Another surprise awaits on the hotel terrace: on request, Novotel staff serves a 1920s-inspired Christmas menu in the transparent “Tubbo” structure.

Greenland Exhibition at the ALPS (Alpine Museum)

When the temperatures go down, the heating in the office goes up. But what is life like in Greenland, where it is almost always cold? In the Arctic, low temperatures are hardly the main problem. Melting icebergs, a booming fishing industry, consumer waste, flourishing tourism: Greenland’s transformation is intense, turbulent, and contradictory. What does this teach us about the world we live in? These are the focal points of the Alps’ Greenland exhibition, sure to provide plenty of food for thought and topics for discussions within the team.

Video Games in the Erupt Living Room

You think video games don’t have anything to do with Christmas? Well, how about reliving fond memories and reviving childhood dreams? There may not be a fire crackling in the cosy living room, but there are power lines running at full speed. Play Nintendo, have a karaoke battle or compete in classic board games – hearty laughs and lots of unique memories are guaranteed at this Christmas event.
