Più Kornhaus

Inside the historic Kornhaus – once home to the popular Kornhauscafé – the third Più has opened its doors (the first two are in Zurich, the fourth in Zug). The influence of an architect from Tel Aviv, the elegant furnishings and the colourful paintings by local artist Lorenz Spring have made the restaurant a bright, airy space with an open and welcoming feel. The kitchen is open as well, allowing guests to watch the chefs and pizzaiolos at work.

“La vera pizza Napolitana” is the house speciality, baked in a wood-fired oven. It is thicker than the pizzas we commonly know in Switzerland, and the dough is light and airy because it is allowed to rest for 48 hours. But the Più is more than just an elegant pizzeria – the menu features many other Italian classics such as beef carpaccio, Mediterranean fish dishes, and panna cotta.

Just next door – and yet a world of its own: the Bindella Vinoteca. A meeting point for wine lovers and those on the way to becoming one. “Wine, wine, wine – that’s how it should be!” Wines of the month can be tasted, and the perfect drop for any occasion is sure to find its way into your glass.
