Since 1980, family-run wineries have been producing wines full of character for the Swiss organic pioneer Delinat according to its own organic guidelines, which are the most demanding in Europe. What makes Delinat viticulture so special? The secret lies in viticulture. Delinat prescribes a cultivation method that is unique in over a hundred points of the guidelines: the vines grow in colourful diversity: herbs, shrubs, hedges and even trees provide a habitat for songbirds, butterflies, ladybirds and many thousands of other beneficial insects that ensure ecological balance and protect the vines from disease. They thank us with healthy and full-bodied grapes, from which good wine of the best terroir quality is produced as if by magic.

The entire Delinat range is waiting to be discovered in the spacious sales outlet right next to Bern's city theatre, Bühnen Bern. In addition to 250 organic wines from all over Europe, it also includes a selection of the finest olive oils, vinegars and honeys - all of the very best organic quality, of course. A constantly changing selection is available for tasting.

Wine courses and tastings are also organised on a regular basis. On the last Friday and Saturday of every month, exciting themed tastings take place in the wine depots and shops. Participation is free and no registration is required.

Delinat wine bar & shop right next to the "Loebegge"

The Delinat wine bar in Bern, located in the immediate vicinity of the Loebegge, has become a popular meeting place and insider tip for wine lovers in recent years. The offer is unique in Switzerland: 100 Delinat wines are available by the glass on request. Of course, all wines can also be purchased "over the counter".

However, the generously furnished cellar bar is even more: a place for relaxation and conscious enjoyment. Wine is tasted and compared here, but people also talk shop, discuss and sit back and relax. The tapas-style food on offer is simple but varied. Only certified Delinat wines and delicious organic specialities from the region are served.
