Let it Beer
Once again, beer fans from near and far are invited to Burgdorf’s Markthalle for two days of savouring and celebrating beer in all its facets at this year’s edition of Let it Beer. You’ll see well-known breweries such as Platzhirsch Burgdorfer Bier as well as smaller craft beer breweries from the region and from abroad, offering everything from beer classics like lager, amber and wheat bear to more recent favourites such as pale ales, IPAs and sour beers.
And you’ll get to take a look behind the scenes: in conversations with brewers, visitors can learn all about hops, malt and the fine differences between different types of beers. You’ll also have the opportunity to test your knowledge at a beer tasting and discover new aromas.

When thirst gives way to hunger, stop by the food stalls where you’ll find Argentinian empanadas, Japanese gyoza, Philly cheese steak and many more international specialities.
Whether you’re a beer buff or an amateur connoisseur, Let it Beer is perfect for discovering and enjoying Bern’s diverse beer culture!

If you don’t want to miss out on the fun in Burgdorf, we recommend buying your ticket ahead of time. Admission for one day is CHF 17, a two-day pass costs CHF 27. You can purchase your ticket online. Added bonus: it includes a special festival glass that you can take home as a souvenir after the event.
