BEST’24 provided the opportunity to discover the most beautiful locations in the destination Bern over the course of two days. All information, the itinerary as well as pictures can be found here.

From the Emmental show dairy cheese heaven to the industrial chic of the Stufenbau Ittigen and from Wankdorf Stadium, home of the Wonder of Bern, to alpine views at Casino Bern. The two BEST’24 days were over in a flash. “Schön siter da gsy” (Glad you were part of it).

Programme for Sunday, 17 March 2024*

Regio Tour 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Discover the most beautiful venues in the Bern region on the Regio Tour. Transportation and catering are taken care of.

Bleisure programme 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

The Bleisure programme lets you try out social programmes free of charge in the morning and afternoon. Indicate your preferences when applying. You will be allocated to at least two activities. We try to take preferences into account as much as possible. For this programme, you will have to organise your own transportation and catering.

Dinner 6:30 p.m.

In the evening, all participants are invited to a gala dinner at the Stufenbau event location in Ittigen.

Overnight stay

Those who wish can stay in a hotel in Bern free of charge.

All activities on Sunday can be booked including an accompanying person. This also includes the overnight stay in a hotel in Bern.

Emmental Show Dairy

Programme on Monday, 18 March 2024

Activities 9 a.m. –12:30 p.m.

There are four site inspection tours in the city of Bern to choose from on Monday. When applying, you can indicate your preferences. They will be taken into account as far as possible.

Lunch, 12:30 p.m.

The standing lunch takes place at Casino Bern. It is ideal for networking. Bern’s top locations and social programme providers will be presenting their offerings.

Closing event, ends at 4:30 p.m.

Under the motto “KI darf auch einfach mal Spass machen” (“AI can be fun, too”), Stämpfli Kommunikation will round off the afternoon with one of its prompt battles, hugely popular in Bern’s creative scene.

Site inspection tours

Tour 1: XXL

Tour 1 presents venues for large-scale events or congresses with a large number of participants. This includes the largest hotel in Bern.

Tour 2: Views and insights

If you want to get out of the city centre and into the countryside to enjoy some panoramic views or are interested in culture and cuisine, take part in tour 2.

Tour 3: Boost of creativity

Tour 3 shows vibrant, inspiring co-working spaces, creative event options and flexibly usable rooms.

Tour 4 offers insights into exclusive and elegant venues. Participants also go on a tour of the ewb event space in the Forsthaus energy centre – a unique location with visions for the future.
